A small overview of the product according to the setup guide. So you must have this. Second, if you're using Aura, you're done now. You're doing it wrong, but you're in the mood. To say his aura is ready is a lie. So star down. The packaging says you need an adapter. They don't tell you which adapter. because they don't seem to be selling it anymore. (Once I found it, it appears to be PH-CB-DRGB3P_MB 3, which appears to be only available in China). Getting a VDG to RGB 3-pin adapter is not easy for an American. Anyone who has ever used Asus software knows they should stop. iCue works with modern ASUS and MSI motherboards. Use it. It's much nicer. However, iCUE does NOT address the 3-pin RGB headers on (at least some) other compatible ASUS motherboards. Close iCUE and reinstall AURA. Restart iCUE and close it again (assuming it wakes up on startup). open aura. In the aura, change the titles (sounds like you should do them all or none ymmv) to whatever color you want. Close your Aura and open iCUE. Open your iCUE profile and it ignores invisible 3-pin headers and overrides AURA settings. Leave these fan covers the color you set in Aura and the rest in iCUE settings. You can then remove the aura again. I believe the RGB Aura settings are stored in the BIOS. They seem to have a memory or color unless iCue messes them up. which isn't because it's not possible at the moment. The fan covers are BRIGHT. In comparison, the remaining lamps appear weak. (Maybe I can fix that in AURA?, yes. Brightness has been lowered to be closer to the rest of the MB and such; much more balanced). The LEDs can be viewed from either side (depending on your case I think). The bright lights and the fact that they're right in front of your eyes make them a bit over the top until you turn them off. They do not impede the flow of air. Completely off track. They add some thickness. almost if not 6mm or so. This adds up when GPU length/space is an issue. If I had to do it again, I would simply use silent RGB fans. I was humble and mature back then and skipped RGB. Then I felt like a teenager and bought them. Don't buy these unless you've just bought some nice new fans and then decided you want to play with the lights. The price doesn't make sense.
