Review on Elevate Essentials Pumice Stone Cleaning Stick (4 pack) by Sarah More

I had no ideas! on Household Items

Faced with the challenge of cleaning the incredibly difficult Toto toilet, which had a thick, rather ugly layer of limescale and hard water on the bottom of the bowl (tan and thick), I tried everything Standard sprays to clean the toilet and finally mild solutions of hydrochloric acid and Ajax cleaners. I've tried flushing and cleaning the toilet, tried different brushes, nothing worked UNTIL I did some research and came across pumice stone cleaner on the internet. I thought what do I have to lose? This toilet cost over $1,000 and I was close to just replacing it. So I bought a pack of these wonderful pumice stones and was able to restore the porcelain surface to new condition by leaving clean water in the bowl while I worked. Smooth, absolutely clean surfaces. These stones are amazing. Basically, you take a rock (they come in the form of plastic-coated rectangular blocks), peel off some of the plastic coating to reveal some of the rock, and start rubbing, peeling off more plastic as you go. Out of scale! The stone grinds down to a fine powder as you work, so it's good to flush the toilet every now and then to keep the water clean - then you'll see your progress! This toilet was really to scale so it took some pumice sticks to get it 100% clear. Now the toilet is like new again! It flushes like a new toilet again. I'm so glad I found this product! Fabulous! Another thing I did with a small set of nails was stick them in the water jet holes and knock off a few pieces of spirit level where the holes were too small for the block to reach. I was careful not to scratch these areas. Maybe a smaller pumice stone could fit in those holes?
