Review on 🔧 GEARWRENCH 3/8-Inch Drive Universal Socket Adapter - 80804 by Mark Tompkins

I've never had tools like this before so I didn't understand how they worked. It's just that each of the pins is spring loaded. So when you insert the fastener, it only pushes in the correct pins while holding the rest in place to provide the turning force. Now I'm not going to use this in place of replacing sockets, but the point is to be able to get to those rounded or otherwise damaged fasteners and let's just say it's another tool in your drawer. It won't get everything, but it will definitely give you a shot before you have to resort to drilling or cutting. And I can say that it's a good quality, which of course I've come to expect from Gearwrench. Yes, it comes with an impact wrench adapter, but sometimes with a regular ratchet you'll have a better lock that runs slower. It's nice to try both ways. Definitely a great tool to have on hand. Better than I expected.
