If you lead an active lifestyle, the tape on the G6 just won't hold up to sweat and repeated showers. These sticky patches work wonders to stick the sensors in place. They had to endure many sweaty training sessions and hot showers. So much so that on the last day of shooting the adhesion was still very strong; It was complicated. My skin is a little sensitive and I've had rashes from either the glue itself or the peeling layer of skin. In this sense, some kind of stickiness remover can help.
