I bought a case with a wooden base because it looks cool, but when I saw and touched the case I wished I had gone for a plain black one. The veneer is not smooth and does not look rich - in fact the wood feels dry and slightly rough. I'm wondering if there is a way to oil or varnish the wood to make it look more like the example product. Hey ho, I'm stuck with this now if it doesn't break. Although I bought through Revain and they only offer 30 days, I assume Moment covers the case for a full year, which is what their case warranty is. But the lenses are great.
