Luckily the shank (the small part that protrudes through the holes in the strap and is stopped by the clasp) in my old watch strap that I replaced was longer than this one, otherwise I would have had to return the watch strap because of the stalk , which was on this one, just twisted all the way behind the buckle and didn't hold the bracelet in place at all. It was about 1/16 inch short. The pink strap matches my Minnie Mouse watch face so I love it, but it's also the first watch strap I've ever bought that didn't come with mounting pins. by hours. Luckily the pins on my old watch strap were fine, but sometimes they don't work. I was expecting new pins so I was surprised. It just shows you that you should never throw away old parts until you are sure you will never need them again.
