We received the camera on time and installed it immediately using the existing WiSight cables. The assembly took about 10 minutes, including gluing with water-repellent sealant. It worked great on the first short rides. I had to turn on the headlights to be able to use them all the time while driving, as expected. We then drove 1,900 miles from Seattle to San Diego, but on the day we left it rained the whole time. By the way very bad. The camera could not stand it and condensation got into the camera. Now it's almost useless because water gets in the way, blocking half the view during the day, and at night the IR illumination is fully reflected onto it, making it completely useless. The return window was about a month ago so I can't return it to Amazon. Don't buy it if you intend to drive it more than 300 miles. It does not withstand pressure drops and heavy rain. Too bad it was a waste of money.
