Depending on the resolution, the monitor has a different maximum refresh rate (at least that's what the Windows control panel shows to me). Only low resolution (640x480 or similar) has max. 75 Hertz. Other resolutions, including the more common 1920 x 1080, are only 60Hz. But this is a good monitor for the price, it works well with no complaints.
