The stand comes with four legs with a decorative white silicone washer installed between the center of the leg and the end caps. The white washers that came with my riser were misshapen and greasy. They made the legs look awful and also made the legs shaky. When I tried to tighten the legs the silicone washers came out which made it worse and didn't allow the legs to be strong. I took off the washers and my legs looked a lot better and toned up nicely. Next, examine the legs for metal filings and grease. One of mine was wrapped in long strips of aluminum and the other needed to be cleaned with tack remover. Finally, the legs are bare metal where they meet the table and the entire frame slides very easily. I added some clear leg stickers and am now very happy with how the stand looks and works with my 27" computer.
