This suitcase fits straight out of the bag and has always been Jeep's best friend on the beach. A cable lock is suitable if you leave your car unattended. It's not that the cover can't be cut, but hey, it's just a deterrent, not a safe! We take it off the same way each time and put it on in reverse. The straps on the back are a bit flimsy so I use an ice spring clip on the back and attach the cover to the bumper. The front of the boot falls nicely around the front wheels. Be sure to dry it completely if it gets wet before storing it. The suitcase is big, the bag is small. You have to roll it up very tightly like a sleeping bag when you want to put it back in your storage bag. GREAT VALUE!
