Strong struts, weak mounts for it.
These worked perfect! But these are not soft close. They’re soft opening, which for my application it worked better for me. I got these to install a very top heavy hood (roof) for a dog house. And so far they hold up well. These are super strong when paired. It can do some lifting when opening. The brackets on the other hand, seem a little bit flimsy for the strength these have.
