In general, you would expect that the wider an item is, the narrower the dimensions will be so that the volume between the gaps remains the same. This model does exactly the opposite, and it's absolutely galling that such a simple thing was so terribly flawed. To test this, take a tablespoon, add 1 tablespoon at a time and see how each matches the measurements shown. You'll see that the lines are heavily offset and not by a small margin. When I was looking for a new jigger I saw an equally cheap mass produced Chinese model and it looked similar but was to the correct scale in the photo. When it arrived it turned out to be the same cheap Chinese model.
