These gloves are amazing. I have been wearing them as I do gardening, moving my pots outside for the summer, moving rocks. They have not only helped me from getting injured, but given me a better grip, kept my hands clean and I haven’t broken one fingernail. They are fairly thick but coated with a rubber type substance on the palms. They fit well, and are comfortable. I have smaller feminine hands and got a medium. I wish I had gotten these sooner, they really are so helpful to have.

100% recommend. After taking a chunk of my thumb off using a mandolin these are necessary. I just throw them in the washing machine with a load of laundry between uses. These are perfect for still having speed and getting all the way to the end of whatever you’re slicing without worrying about cutting yourself.Please just buy them.

These gloves are KNIFE resistant, but not really mandolin slicers. Which is why I bought them. I gave the a two overall because they do work if you are using a knife and accidentally slide over your finger. But I don't think they would hold up very long if you did that repeatedly.
