After reading some reviews about the middle pin being too long I wanted to use it again. this part of my old lever. I then tried the included pin and it fitted perfectly (my door is a bit thicker than construction doors). The shorter pin may have been the primary cause of lever wear. I can't complain though, the original part has been widely available for ten years and I hope this replacement will last for many years to come. We chose free shipping and received the goods in no time. The only thing I'd like to add is an exploded view of the washer and compression nut sequence - a simple diagram would suffice. The big picture helped me with the wave washer. A pin replacement would cost over $40 at major hardware stores or online. This option was a great way to save money and Prime-Line was the only supplier I found that sold this part separately at a fair price.
