Attaches to the special round headrest on your existing massage table in about 15 seconds. Pull a loop through and it closes with Velcro. For the other two belts? Through them you run two wooden dowels, which are used to attach the headrest to the table. Once installed, you now have a place to rest your hands for a massage. The only problem is that the velcro that adjusts the height of the leading edge is too long and I can't tighten it enough for the platform to be parallel to the ground. As a result, the leading edge (farthest from the table) is about four inches BELOW the nearest edge. The Velcro loop is too long to be parallel. But it still holds my hands well and I would recommend it. You must have your hands in front of you so the therapist can adequately massage your traps and levators. This is a good product; If only the velcro was a little shorter so it would be parallel to the ground.
