So far I really like this watch! I was hesitant to purchase this due to concerns about the strap size and if it would be too shiny, but I like the way it looks. Although the watch looks more like shiny gold than matte gold, it's not overly bright - I tried to get an accurate photo. It's definitely a slim female profile, so if you're into a chunkier look, maybe consider the male version instead. The properties of indiglo and water resistance are a big plus for me! With all of this, be prepared to adjust the size of the strap. It's no fun when you do it yourself. When I first took the watch out of the box I thought maybe it would fit me. NO. I have fairly small wrists but I took out 8 links (over an inch). And since going to a watch repair shop is cheap and too lazy, I decided to do it myself with the help of YouTube videos. Here are some tips if you decide to take the risk: Prepare as many tools as possible. Something like a 00 flathead screwdriver, small awl, tweezers, or fine-nosed jewelry pliers. I had 2/3 of it and was struggling a bit, though I think tweezers or pliers would have helped. The process is not that difficult but requires patience and precision; I didn't have the patience. Although I did it successfully, at one point you can tell I didn't get it quite right. Can anyone else tell? no It is save? Yes. Am I an annoying perfectionist after being lazy? Yes. My suggestion: if you don't have small tools and they are handy enough, just take them to a watch shop!
