I was using gamepads with a different layout for a good portion of my gaming career (a competing company). I simply cannot fathom going back to another plan at this point. The gamepad is fantastic and well worth the purchase price. Nevertheless, as I mentioned before, there is one major problem to it. This shortcoming does not always present itself, but when it does, it can be quite noticeable: With video games, there is always a chance that it will freeze or even completely freeze due to unforeseen situations (at this moment, the X icon, which is the power button, will start flashing). A little over two weeks ago, games started to become unplayable due to the gamepad, but it had been serving its purpose up until this point. And this is not a joke (you can read more on gamefaq by typing in the phrase "and this is not a joke") "The Xbox 1 Controller is causing a freeze on my computer. I beg your pardon! "). In addition to that, there is an explanation of how the issue can be resolved. And perhaps most remarkable of all is the fact that our guy from 2022 solved it. As a consequence of this, I was only successful in configuring it via the wire. Because of bluetooth, Steam could no longer see him. On my Windows 10 computer, I installed the "Xbox Accessories" program. In general, I'm not too angry about the fact that it has now been converted into a wired one. If you find yourself suddenly becoming bored, I'll try to dance with tambourines once more.
