solid lights on my review.

These best for high ceilings, or in lamp facing upward to reflect on white ceiling or wall to produce diffused room light. Also probably good for basements in incidents where wish reliable light that should last because design seems very robust and panels well isolated from circuitry. In a confined space like a laundry area, you can probably get more light from even a 30w 2 or 3 panel of that cheaper white casing design due to the extended surface area of the panels and curvature of the covers, these more for throwing the light. For really lighting up a room from a single socket, the 60w 5 panel (4 leaf and 1 center) gives the best all directional light, the corn style bulbs are not bad either if you don't mind exposed LED's.I tried this and the type with clear covers, I do prefer the white panel covers. Is little more diffuse and perhaps safer for the eye's. A good light for the right application.
