I bought these to use after making bone broth for boning, which I do monthly. The ends don't hold up as well as I expected as they are silicone. But the biggest problem I have is the design of the main poles. If you enlarge the photo you will notice that the inside of the pole has a hole and is hollow. This makes it completely impossible to clean this area at all. So basically you can only clean the tips from the outside and anything that gets into these bars will get stuck there almost forever unless you pull it out with a toothpick or something. I will return them. I will not use toothpicks to clean my tongs and I definitely don't want to put them back in the drawer or reuse them if they have dirt in them that I can't get out!
