Review on ๐Ÿ’… Orly Nail Rescue Kit: Repair and Revive Damaged Nails by Danielle Smith

Revainrating 5 out of 5

2 coats of base coat over 2 thin coats of adhesive

I'm trying for the first time. First thing I noticed is that it's much more comfortable to apply than silk wraps and secondly it seems really durable. It really feels like a life saver. The side of my thumbnail started to crack before it even grew. I ordered it in a hurry knowing I would have to cut it if I didn't act quickly. When I received it, it was even more cracked and the nail barely grew. The white line in my drawing shows a gap! Yes you can see the grainy area where the glue/powder was applied. Yes, it's still a bit rough even with nail polish applied, but I usually applied more coats and it smoothed out on its own. The texture, as it is, is barely perceptible and does not tire. A few tips for a smooth finish: 1 smooth stroke, 1 quick dip! Allow coats to fully dry in between, don't be afraid to buff!* Start with the dark pink side (rough I think), buff very quickly for 6-8 seconds as many times as you like, then buff the same with the pink side (light sand). That gives a pretty good finish. Anyway, thanks to @Simplynailogical for bringing me here and thanks to Orly for this product!
