They stay on well if your skin is not initially damp (e.g. a few minutes after a shower, even after drying yourself with a towel) and remain on the skin when it remain undisturbed all the time the day. However, they don't allow moisture to escape from underneath them, which makes skin lighter with that bumpy texture you get after bathing/showering/pooling too long. I ended up trimming them to reveal the edges of the white padding on the long edges to let some of the moisture out and that helped a lot. Lots of these for a good price but I would recommend something else if you need to prevent the wound from getting too much moisture (in my situation there were a few big/big toe stitches - it took a lot of bandages because it had to to be replaced) often, but there was too much moisture in it, even when wearing an open boot). Although there are many of them cheap.
