Review on ๐Ÿšฝ Kohler Brevia K 4775 0 Quick Release Round Front Toilet Seat by Edward Freeland

The fastening system is terrible - you will never tighten it.

Trust the other bad reviews! I figured I could just be careful and get it working - and I kind of did, but I definitely regret the purchase. If you are still not convinced that this is an inferior product, then read on for the details. 1 - The plastic nuts at the bottom of the toilet are easy to unscrew. The toilet lid wasn't tight enough to hold it in place when one of mine fell off (as others have complained). I got around this by reusing mounting nuts from my old Kohler cover. 2 - On the top where the screw is held - the mechanics are pure junk. As you tighten the screws, the mounting brackets move apart and deform (again, before the cover is even in place). I needed a second person to compress the plastic while tightening to get around it. All in all, I'm wondering if Kohler really ever tried? I love the premium quality of their real toilets and sinks, but this lid is terrible. Seriously, don't let the low price fool you into thinking you've gotten a bargain - whatever the price, it's money down the drain! Do you see what I did there? ;)

Pros
  • Round closed front panel for one and two-piece toilets
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
