Well I know it sounds a bit dated but I really wanted this mp3/4 player for various reasons. First, I have so many music and video files from the old LimeWire days that it's just not convenient to store them on my phone, even with an SD card it's too much. And I don't have the ability to upload everything to the cloud for streaming as I live in a terrible coverage area and it's even worse when I'm driving through the mountains. So it was a compromise, and I'm glad I spent a few extra bucks on a digital touchscreen instead of the usual junk. I can watch all my old AVI music videos! It's really great and makes me smile quite often. Especially when my kids call me an old fart for doing BOD haha. And it plays my entire music collection from almost 2 decades of collecting. And I'm very happy with the additional apps like calculator, FM radio and picture gallery. I've moved a lot of stuff to free up space on my phone, it's easy to use and connects to my phone and laptop with no issues. The battery life is great too. I don't think I charged it for at least 4 or 5 days when I first took it out of the box.
