I've only used it a few times so can't speak to hair growth yet. I'm not crazy about the smell - some kind of medicine. It doesn't foam much either. You have to use a lot to wash your hair down to your waist (although I usually only apply it to my scalp/bangs). If it helps with thinning, it's definitely worth it. I am 60 years old and I am losing weight in bangs. Otherwise my hair is below the middle of my back and very thick. Hope this helps my pony. Update: I've been using it for over a month now. My bangs and hair around my face seem to be thicker. I'm not sure if it's because of new hair growth or because the shampoo is thickening the texture of the hair. I will probably continue to use it on thinned spots.
