I am a nurse in an orthopedic operating room so my body always aches, especially in my shoulders, from lifting heavy positioning aids, sets and fluids. I have a pillow massager with four massage balls, so I'm going to compare it to this SGorri massager. This review might also be helpful for those who are about to choose the weather for a pillow massager or this neck massager with sleeve massager that I've also tried before. So the first impression was that it was huge and bulky. There is also some weight, especially on the engine part. Leather, processing and manufacturer are commendable. It comes with a regular socket and for the car. Cable length is acceptable. The downside is that there is no carrying case. First Use: It is quite inconvenient to find the right position to place the massager because a heavy weight is dragged by the neck massager itself. It's also quite difficult to press the D-pad as it requires you to really twist your neck to the side to do so, although once you get used to the placement you can just tap through it with your fingers. In terms of speed, there is only a hairline speed difference between soft and medium, so it is assumed that there are only two speeds: soft and fast. The heating function only starts after 8 minutes have elapsed. The massager will turn off automatically after 15 minutes. Massage: Massager with 4 balls. 2 small and 2 large. The massage cycle on the neck feels smooth at first, then the 2nd twist gets deep and you can really feel it coming from either side pushing the neck or outwards depending on the twist cycle you chose. By holding the strap on your arm, you apply pressure and make the massage deeper. Even a slight hold or tug makes a big difference in the print. This feeling is only based on my body type with a BMI of 23. The shoulder blade massage is tolerable, I just have to find the right place for the massager. While in other parts of the back I find it excruciatingly painful, perhaps because I don't have much fat or muscle in that part. It's bearable on the calves as long as I'm not using my full weight. Another trick I do is put a pillow on my feet to elevate my legs so the massager is well under my calf. Pillow type comparison: The pillow type I chose has 4 balls of the same size. It's easy to transport because the other parts don't hang around. The weight is also much lighter than the SGorri massager. It's easier to position and massage other parts of my back is much better tolerated than the SGorri. In terms of neck massage, SGorri can provide a more precise and deeper massage than a pillow massager which is only superficial. Pressure is applied to the SGorri by pulling on the armrest, while the pillow massager is applied by pushing your body/back against it. You can choose the rotation cycle of the SGorri or, if left alone after powering up, alternate cycles while the pad spins only clockwise and counterclockwise after a specific cycle. The SGorri massager can wrap around either side of my lower neck like a professional massager. Heat: SGorri's heating function activates faster in 8 minutes, while the pillow massager activates in 15 minutes, this is also the time it stops working. Conclusion: The SGorri Massager is best for people who want to pay more attention to the neck area. It is also best suited for people with large stature. While the pillow massager is for those who just want a lighter to medium massage and those with a lower mass density. But for me who has chronic right shoulder pain, I currently prefer SGorri as it can give a deeper massage. Otherwise, for general relaxation, I prefer the pillow massager. The price, it's double the price of the pillow massager I got.
