Great Replacement for Hunter 5 Series Fan Remote Receiver

We have a Hunter fan that is about 10 feet tall and has always been a remote controlled fan. It wasn't a transition from traction to remote control. First, we bought a receiver, which turned out to be a rework - it had an extra wire that had nowhere to connect. This receiver replaces a malfunctioning receiver in a Hunter 5 Series Remote Control Fan. Works great and we are very satisfied. It also costs a lot less than ordering from Hunter, plus Hunter doesn't stock them until August or September. Edit: I've read some reviews that say you need to use an app for this receiver to work. We use regular old remote control without app which comes with no problem with fan.
