This dough hook kneads dough much better than the C-handle that came with my mixer. It seems to work much better with heavier doughs and stickier doughs, such as rye breads like cumin and pumpernickel. I really like that the tool is very easy to clean and even if the dough has hardened in places, it comes off with almost no effort. I bake a lot of bread for my family (four to five loaves a week) and with my arthritis taking its toll I had to buy an electric mixer that can knead. It makes light work much easier.
