I haven't had this product long enough to know how long it lasts, how chewable it is, or how easy it is to clean, but I do can tell you that my three dogs, one a 12 lb poodle and the other a 45 lb Heinz 57, love the damn thing and while they don't fight over it, they go to him when the need arises. not busy with others. Right now the big dog is in the dog bed where I put the mat and the little dog is on the couch right above him in the dog bed and you can bet that as soon as the big dog moves the little dog will take it. his place in bed is to lie on the carpet. It's just right for the warmth it gives them and it's so good that I think I may need to buy a second or maybe even a third to accommodate all three of my dogs. The only one who doesn't go straight to the bed and the ceiling is my youngest terrier, and for some reason she doesn't seem attracted to it, at least not yet!
