Pictures don't lie, this thing works! I feel so secure in it too. It's very tight, I must warn you. I am 5'6" and weigh 240-245lbs and I ended up being able to SQUEEZE in to a 2x. However, my weight is evenly distributed, I have a 35" waist and my hips measure between 47"-50". I like that it's so tight though, that means I have about 20-30lbs I can lose before I have to get another one. I have not used it while exercising though so, I'm not too sure how much it makes you sweat but I'm sure there are other reviews on it. I just wanted to let you all know how it fits and hopefully help someone find their perfect fit.
