They've been great for the price and for the climate here. (We live in a mild climate with no winter snow, frost rarely occurs in winter - nighttime lows in deep winter can be 35 degrees.) So I'd say if you're using them for lake effect snowy regions, they might not be the warmest ( so like 4 stars) but here it was a very good buy and seems to be appreciated.
