Review on πŸ”₯ BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium Mini Flat Iron by Wendy Catchings

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good investment, ideal for travel!

For reference, I have naturally long, thin and mostly straight hair, but I have a lot of frizz on the top and top layer of my hair, so I like to use a flat iron to straighten that part or add volume to my hair. I also sometimes use it to create beachy waves all over. Although my high quality hair straightener in the salon said it was double voltage, I didn't want to risk traveling 8 days in Peru. So instead I decided to buy and get the Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Mini with 1 inch platters. I'll admit I was skeptical when it arrived and saw how small and light it was, but it worked perfectly both at home in the US and in several hotel rooms in Peru. In fact, it's so light and comfortable that I've taken it in place of my professional ones several times since returning from a trip. I've seen a few reviews on here where people complained about it getting too hot when styling, but I suspect those people didn't see the two rubber knobs/buttons on each side of the iron that are meant to protect your fingers . I have never burned myself using them! My only complaint - and it's a small one - is that if I rush and grab too much hair, they don't glide smoothly and my hair gets stuck in the plates. However, this is user error, not hardware. If I take the time to just take the right amount of hair, it works great. I am very happy with the performance and the size is very travel friendly. I think this would also be a great first iron for someone (just remember there is only one temperature setting and no auto shut off).

Cons
  • Tangled hair
