Amazing iron! for straighteners

This straightener is awesome! It's so small it almost looks like an iron for a doll. Don't let the size fool you. I have medium to thick naturally frizzy hair and this straightener has straightened all of my hair with no problems. If you're used to an iron, you shouldn't have any problems with it. This is the best iron for travel, the gym, or keeping on your desk. I highly recommend this iron.

Pros
  • regular price
Cons
  • not reliable

Compact and lightweight

I bought this 1 inch hair straightener for my 14 year old daughter; She loves it. Not recommended for long and thick hair. It's not impossible, but maybe a little impractical. Although I think there is an exception for travel. This compact iron is lightweight (just over a pound). Titanium plates heat up quickly and stay hot. It is comfortable to hold and has a well thought-out design. That's a little champion.

Pros
  • I hold my fists

Pulls/Snags Hair - Sad sad sad

First ride I used was today. Unfortunately too late to return, he appears on Revain. The flat iron doesn't open very wide to put a small thin strand of hair in it. Biggest Problem: The front of the flat plate pulls/hooks hair like a trellis when pulling through hair to straighten it. I have had BaByBliss Titanium large irons for many years and love them, but I will never use this product again. You can hear it scrape/scratch as you drive by - ahh!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Good investment, ideal for travel!

For reference, I have naturally long, thin and mostly straight hair, but I have a lot of frizz on the top and top layer of my hair, so I like to use a flat iron to straighten that part or add volume to my hair. I also sometimes use it to create beachy waves all over. Although my high quality hair straightener in the salon said it was double voltage, I didn't want to risk traveling 8 days in Peru. So instead I decided to buy and get the Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Mini with 1 inch platters. I'll…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Tangled hair

Great product for travel

I like it! Bought for a trip to New Zealand and Australia. Much more compact and lighter than your standard straightener. Dual voltage is built in so I didn't have to buy a converter. Although the blades are smaller than my regular straightener, the blades are still big enough that it only took me about 5 extra minutes to straighten my hair (I have long (8-10 inches below my shoulders) medium thickness hair) . I've attached a photo so you can see the size. Absolutely to recommend.

Pros
  • nice little thing
Cons
  • not trendy

Not for fine/fine hair

This straightener's heating plates have a gap that prevents fine/fine hair from catching your hair and straightening it evenly. I thought it was a random issue but this is the second iron I've ordered. If the plates matched then this would be the perfect travel iron.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • embarrassing

Small but robust and only 1 installation.

My stylist recommended I try this product, so I ordered it and I'm happy. There is no temperature control. It's either on or off, and nothing will alert you that you left it on. No auto shut off etc. There is a red light and all. It heats up in 1.5 minutes and is around 300-400 degrees. Larger irons take much longer, even though they have more safety features. I still use a blow dryer and only straighten it on certain occasions, so turning it on and off isn't that big of a deal for me. Maybe…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Non-automatic

Not 5 stars but could still be a better option.

Advantages:1. The plates get very hot, so one pass through the strand of hair will straighten them.2. I did a lot of research before purchasing and this was the only mini straightener with plates at least 1" thick that actually worked for others. The cord is no shorter than usual but not bulky (I had a smaller straightener with a thicker cord)4. Although it's not designed for curlers, I was able to curl my hair perfectly with it. Cons: 1. It makes a grinding noise when I run it through my hair…
