Review on Replacement Keyless Control Clicker Transmitter by Eddie Shields

The parcel went exactly one month and the track of departure was tracked only to the borders of China. Dimensions: length 58 mm, width 34 mm, height 7 mm. Weight - no weight, just kidding, well, somewhere around only about 15 grams (as it was written on the package). As you can see in the photo above, this remote control is made in the form of a key fob. It has only seven main buttons to control TVs of almost any model. I was afraid that it would not fit mine, but it set up very quickly. To synchronize the remote control and the TV, you must press the middle button "Mute" for two to three seconds. After the mute icon appears on the TV screen, you must press the "mute" button again and check if all the buttons are configured correctly. If this does not happen, then repeat the procedure. But as I wrote above - I was very interested in how it is generally arranged from the inside :). Decided to take it apart. The remote control is powered by one 3V CR2025 lithium battery. Equipped with two LEDs. By the way, I don’t understand why, but one of them was transparent, and the second was red. I thought that it would take a long time to disassemble the case, but everything turned out to be much easier than expected. The Chinese simply stuck the top part with buttons onto the chip itself. This is how they save on metal or simply forgot to tighten the bolts, but instead of six, only two were screwed from the bottom. Everything is hanging from above. Although maybe two is enough. By the way, on my TV, since it works, as it were, not in analog mode, but through the Rostelecom set-top box, it didn’t work out to switch channels. Only the volume control buttons and the on/off button work for me. It turns out that the rest of the buttons I do not need. Here is such a device on the microcircuit on the other side. Apparently the programmable microchip is under that black spot (like thermal grease) and it turned out to look at the model. Although, in principle, everything is very clear. Since I have interactive TV, I couldn’t set up channel switching for the set-top box, and any time you press the CH control buttons, the TV tries to switch to analog broadcasting, which is very inconvenient. But I solved the problem ingeniously :) I just took electrical tape and blocked the contacts of some buttons, namely the channel switching and mode selection buttons. So now I just have a sound control panel. In general, it is worth buying only when you do not have digital broadcasting, but analog. It is easy to set up and everything seems to be done quite well.
