I use these pajamas with my 2 month old baby for controlled sleep. I dress him up in a suit and he looks a bit like a Michelin star, but Hee seems to be sleeping pretty well in the suit and doesn't wake up right away like he usually does when he's sleeping. I also like that the sleeves come off when he gets too hot. However, my home is usually air conditioned and cold, so these pajamas are perfect. I'd say it's comparable to Merlin's magical pajamas, but not as effective. It dampens the startle reflex but is lighter than the Merlin suit.
