That was a great hair dryer. It was quiet and dries hair well without making it frizzy. However, the device has a design flaw. The cable protector (intended to prevent excessive cable wear) is made of material that is too stiff, which makes cable wear worse. The hard material severed the cord and shorted out the dryer during use. Sparks flew and the line really caught fire. It looks like there is now a newer version of this dryer with a redesigned cord at the base, so this might be a safer option. I would avoid it.
