These work great for cutting food in the kitchen and they are especially sharp. I like the fact that the blades can be separated so that it makes cleaning in between the blades much easier and more hygienic. This is especially if you are going to be using these to cut other things like packages in which the glue or other materials can contaminate the pair of shears. That said, I guess it's great that you get two so you can decide what to do with each. :)
