I've been wearing Mizunos for years but this is my first pair of Wave Horizons. I've worn them twice for a run, once for 3 miles and again for not quite 5 miles and they are comfortable and do the job perfectly. However, I wore them on a walk where I carried my 2 year old about 5 miles in a hard backpack on my back (I do this regularly so I know it's not a problem) and my feet got a pair Got numb and I ended up with a big blister on the inside of the heel. I've found that walking puts more pressure on the inside of the foot than other Mizuno shoes I've had and I suspect this is the problem. I will wear this shoe until it wears out, but after that I will probably return to Wave Riders.
