👟 Review: Mizuno Women's Wave Horizon 2 Running Shoe - Ultimate Performance and Comfort Review

I LOVE the color of these shoes but unfortunately I had to return them. I ordered 7.5. I was supposed to order 8 but on my first run I had such a cramp in my right leg that I hobbled home so I decided to just return them. I had read some reviews about them running small but thought they run small unlike regular shoes but would fit half a size up.

Perfect replacement for the Wave Creation 19. The toe box is nice and roomy and the instep doesn't pinch like the Wave Creation 19. I have a wide foot and narrow heels. and i have no problem with that. They nestle wonderfully to the foot and have excellent cushioning. I like the cushioning of the Wave Horizon 2 better. I've been wearing Mizunos for years but this is my first pair of Wave Horizons. I've worn them twice for a run, once for 3 miles and again for not quite 5 miles and they are comfortable and do the job perfectly. However, I wore them on a walk where I carried my 2 year old about 5 miles in a hard backpack on my back (I do this regularly so I know it's not a problem) and my feet got a pair Got numb and I ended up with a big blister on the inside of the heel. I adjusted as expected but this is based on current measurements. For example, I wear a size 7 in normal shoes. With Mizuno they are 1/2 smaller and you have to be prepared for the swelling even when running. So I wear 8 in Mizuno. This is the rule for most running shoes. I love how comfortable the shoes are.
