Really happy with this jewelry box overall. The outside is a soft faux leather (doesn't feel super durable so be careful to not nick it). The inside is very soft faux velvet, and as you can see fits so much stuff very nicely. You can move some of the dividers too which is nice. It is rather cheaply made, but sturdy enough, especially if it is just sitting on your dresser or something. I did just travel cross country with it in a bag in my car and it was fine. Would buy again!
