This is a great tool in our house. Instead of repeating the same thing over and over, our kids have learned to control themselves with these timers. We use them for screen time, reading, brushing our teeth, relaxing, cleaning etc. The quality is great, I was expecting something cheap but they are a good weight and feel really solid. At least my kids didn't break them. In terms of accuracy, sometimes the sand got stuck, but it's not a big problem, just tap it lightly and sometimes it will fix itself. Our kids know they lose 2 minutes every time we find out the time expired before they do "fun" things like screen time.
