Judging by some of the reviews on here, I figured these things would turn into a jelly-like goo when I put anything remotely wet inside. Well I'm here to tell you they don't! I bought these mainly because my wife and I are cat rescuers and it comes down to either washing up a few plates a day or throwing away tons of paper bowls. . Neither of which made us feel particularly good about our impact on the environment, so we decided to give it a try. To my great surprise, not only do they hold their shape, but they are remarkably durable. I just ate a bowl of chili and there is absolutely no sign of "chili saturation" at the bottom of the bowl, inside or out. It also holds up well with wet cat food, even with extra sauce! Delicious. All in all, this is exactly what I was looking for and I'm pleasantly surprised at how well they do their job. I feel so much better about my carbon footprint (and I no longer have to scrape those disgusting bits of cat food out of regular bowls!) Yay!
