I bought this for my daughter's birthday and we built it as a family. This is our first miniature dollhouse. It was fun building furniture. My daughter even added extra towels made from leftover fabric and lace. Attention, the kit we received did not have tools like other similar houses, so we had to improvise. Our best advice is to use clamps, blocks, and L-shaped bookends to hold the pieces (particularly the outside walls) in place while the glue dries. The large exterior walls were slightly warped, so gluing the second floor to fill the gap in the corner was a problem. We used some gorilla gel glue and attached it. Use silicone glue or craft glue to assemble. A hot glue gun isn't recommended, it's messy and creates gaps in the pieces, but it helped keep the wires in place at the back of the house. Be patient, this project will take time, but it's worth it! i love it with light The parts are very small, so make sure there are no small children or pets around. We lost a teacup, hopefully find it before we put the protective sleeve on the assembly.
