Perfect for my devices! I have two air purifiers, Winix WAC9500 and WAC5500. I needed air filters for both, there are many reviews of Winix filters and Fellowes alternatives. First, the Fellowes AP300-PH is a slightly modified/rebranded Winix WAC9500. The device is about the same size. So I bought two filters, a "real" Fellowes HF-300 and a package "Think Crucial HF-300 Fellowes HEPA Style Filter & 4 Carbon Filters Fit AP-300PH Air Purifier" sold by Crucial Vacuum Inc. Both filters are 100% identical in size. The filters are located directly in the air unit, so remove any existing filters/filter cartridges (if any). Both are ideal for WAC9500 and WAC5500. One of the Fellowes is identical to the Winix I removed from my WAC 5500. The Think Crucial filter has a stronger screen around the HEPA filter. As for my existing filters, one is HEPA only with carbon pre-filters located right on the block. The other was an annual Winix cartridge (114190) with washable pre-filters. This filter fitted perfectly and served me for about 2 years. However, I see no point in spending $80-$100 when the Think Crucial filter pack is under $40. Air cleaner. If I had to guess, people are reluctant to remove/throw away filter cartridge frames from old Winix filters. For me, the Think Crucial bundle is something I will be reordering due to the low price and the carbon filters included.
