Nice shoe. Just didn't like the fact that I had to fix a rattling sound in both shoes. The sound was coming from the adjustable SPD mounting nut captured in the sole of the shoe. That mounting nut isn't visible unless you complete remove the delta cleat that comes mounted from the factory. Unfortunately, if you don't use the SPD cleats, then this mounting nut will slide freely behind the delta cleat and rattle (loudly) when riding. To get around this annoyance, you need a short, small-headed 10-32 thread screw to hold the SPD mount in place, while also not interfering with the back side of the delta cleat. See attached pics. Note - if the head of the 10-32 screw were any larger than the one pictured, then the delta cleat couldn't be properly aligned with its mounting holes. You may also want to remove the black rectangle (cosmetic piece) in the center of the cleat, just so the 10-32 screw can be accessed in case it needs to be retightened.
