It worked, but be careful.

Does the product work? Yes, that's right. It's study, but nothing extreme. It has a lot of play when you click on it. I used this with a 3080 TI with a 1.5 slot cooler. It's big and the amount of wiggle room I had in a typical install seemed ridiculous. So I bought that. Buyers beware, the description doesn't mention this, but it doesn't have enough depth from the back of the case to where you usually connect your graphics card. So if you have a case with fins that don't open fully, you'll cut a hole in the back of the case. Some of these adapters are actually about 1 inch deep so you don't have to, but they don't have to. For those who don't understand what I'm saying, when the card is placed vertically, the graphics card outputs (HDMI/DP) are also vertical, so your cable doesn't end up in the slots on the back of the case where the output ports would normally line up . horizontal. Therefore, you need to cut the slats, otherwise the cable will never be connected. If you have a really expensive case, you might not want to do this. For the rest it works. It's a little cheap, but if you're careful it will work just fine. I haven't had any problems with mine. It works and is defined as PCIE 4.0.

Pros
  • High marks for tester support and durability
Cons
  • Generally OK, but...
