Review on Bates Men's Industrial Black Medium Athletic Shoes for Men by Joe Ashan

Bates Rush shoes are very light and breathable. When I work in a factory in the summer, my feet hardly ever sweat. They were comfortable even after breaking in, but it took about a month. These shoes are getting tight and the sides of my feet are going to hurt every day. Eventually they broke and became comfortable. They also tend to walk a little longer. I usually take a size 12 but these feel like a 12.5. Their grip leaves a lot to be desired. They're good on dirt roads, parking lots, and sidewalks, but terrible on tile and polished cement. They slide everywhere. I often have to push and pull large and heavy objects at work and don't feel any traction at all. My last complaint is that they don't last long. The top of my left boot tore on both sides of my right foot because my toes bent after only 6 months. The outsole doesn't even show much wear and I've had shoes that I've worn smooth treads in before I had issues with the upper. Bates offers Rush shoes with leather uppers instead of mesh. I was hoping the leather would last longer so I bought them a size 11.5, length is good but still too tight. It's been over a month and they hardly shrink as the leather is tougher than the mesh. However, they seem to have better traction. If Bates offered them in larger sizes like they do with most of their other shoes, I'd be a lot happier with them.
