Not Quite a Slam Dunk, Simbra Shin Guard I was excited to try the Simbra Shin Guard for an upcoming field hockey tournament, but ended up feeling a bit underwhelmed. While the shin guard is definitely lightweight and offers decent protection, I found it to be a bit too flimsy for my liking. I ended up taking quite a few hard hits to my shins and felt like the guard didn't quite hold up as well as I would have liked. On the plus side, the bright orange color was fun and the sizing options for girls and boys was convenient. Overall, the Simbra Shin Guard is a decent option, but not necessarily my first choice.
