So I have 4 cats and a dog. Live in the city and regularly collect dog poop in biodegradable bags! My garbage cans stink to high heaven. I've googled and tried a few Pinterest hacks (clean up the junk below, baking soda decoctions, etc.) but nothing worked. I put 2 of these little charcoal bags in each lard dispenser, hung them on the top edge in the tote bag, and the next day NO SMELL in the currently used dumpster (I flip them over). So they work! Fat feeders are cheap and last forever, but you have to remember to take them off the night before you take out the trash (but then I can hang them on a charging cord!). I toyed with the idea of drilling small holes in the sides of the dumpster and using strong zip ties to permanently attach the feeder to the inside of the dumpster. Then you wouldn't have to remember that.
