I love this box. I keep over 120 pairs of earrings on the top two tiers and a few bracelets, pendants and longer/larger earrings on the bottom tier. Most of my jewelry is 925 proof so it's nice to have this box's nice and secure lid to protect it from airborne tarnish elements. I just add a few of those little anti-tarnish paper squares and it keeps everything clean and shiny, way better than any other storage option I've used. It's compact enough to keep on my dressing table or tuck away when needed. The large mirror in the lid is also very nice. The leather is beautiful and the functional and decorative clasp is great too. It's going to be heavy with all the embellishments, but I suppose you could travel with it. It has plenty of space and I would never travel with that much jewelry but it's easy to see that this well constructed box will hold up well on a trip. I can recommend something smaller from the same manufacturer for this purpose. It's really wonderful. I think the only thing I would like to see is another level for rings (with rings). For all the form and function of this gorgeous box, it is excellent value for money and looks far more luxurious than the price suggests.
