Easy installation. Be careful though as the parts are not metal! The main component that leads to the shower pipe can rupture if you're not careful. I thought I was being careful until I turned on the shower and water started leaking from the threads. At this point I noticed that the part had cracked. But the company was great and replaced the entire product shortly after I returned it as I received my replacement the very next day! The color changing feature is a big win! I recently switched to water heating without an instantaneous water heater. It's not fully set up yet, but I get cold water under hot showers. At least that's the case with the furthest bathroom in the house. But the shower head flashes quickly and changes from red to green again, then you know cold water is about to rain. I can turn the water down a bit to stay warm! And of course the situation is similar to vice versa when the water changes from cold (blue light) to warm (green light) and you can step under water. Really great feature! Good product! And now my wife wants it!
